Chad Holland is the co-founder and managing member of CR Holland Real Estate, licensed in both Illinois and Florida. Known for his strong work ethic and commitment to client relationships, Chad built CR Holland on the values of honesty and customer satisfaction.
He began his career as a real estate development consultant specializing in mixed-use, hospitality, multifamily, and residential projects. Since founding CR Holland in 2007, he has expanded the company to include development management, construction, student housing, property management, and brokerage services.
Chad played a key role in passing STAR bond legislation in Illinois and, alongside his brother Ryan, co-founded Millennium Destination Development—the master developer behind Illinois’ first STAR bond district in Marion. The 500-acre project features retail, hotels, entertainment, residential areas, and a 220-acre multi-use sports complex.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Chad is an active member of several industry organizations, including IAAPA, ICSC, NAIOP, and multiple Realtor associations. He also serves on the board of his local HOA and holds a US Soccer National D License.
Chad and his wife Marcie have two daughters and are members of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and the St. Clare community.

Ryan Holland is a founding member of CR Holland and oversees the company’s operations, including finance, strategic planning, employee management, and business development. A graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a degree in Economics and Finance, Ryan brings a strong analytical approach to real estate and development.
He specializes in building detailed financial models that assess project feasibility by integrating development costs, revenue projections, operating expenses, and funding strategies. Ryan has helped secure over $150 million in financing through conventional, HUD, life company, and university-backed structures.
In 2009, he collaborated with Stinson Morrison LLP to help draft Illinois Sales Tax and Revenue Bond (STAR) legislation. He later co-founded Millennium Destination Development, the master developer behind a $300+ million, 720-acre mixed-use STAR bond district in Marion, Illinois. This project is projected to generate more than 2,000 jobs and $650 million in annual economic impact.
Ryan launched CR Holland’s residential construction division in 2010 and the property management division in 2016—now managing over 400 HUD-approved residential units across Downstate Illinois. He also has extensive experience in apartment sales, having sold more than 1,000 units statewide.
Licensed in Illinois, Ryan has deep expertise in property and construction management, budgeting, land acquisition, staffing, government approvals, and contract negotiation. He is an active member of IAAPA, ICSC, RASI, the Illinois Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys time with his wife, twin boys, and two stepchildren.

Marcie Holland is the Office Manager at CR Holland, overseeing day-to-day operations across both CR Holland Real Estate and CR Holland Construction. Known for her proactive and personable approach, Marcie plays a key role in fostering strong client relationships.
Her responsibilities include purchasing, bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, records management, and budget oversight—ensuring the company runs efficiently and effectively behind the scenes.

John Holland brings over 35 years of experience in the construction and real estate industry, with a strong track record of executing complex development projects and managing high-value assets. His expertise spans the acquisition and development of mixed-use retail centers and multifamily communities.
John’s role includes overseeing construction budgets, evaluating project progress, managing lender disbursements, and coordinating contractors and vendors. He is also skilled in strategic development planning, asset management, entitlements, governmental relations, and negotiations with key stakeholders—from political entities to retail tenants.

Thomas McMillin brings over 35 years of experience in the construction industry and has been a key part of CR Holland’s construction division since 2017. As a Project Manager and Estimator, Tom plays a vital role in overseeing project execution and ensuring accurate, cost-effective planning from start to finish.
Darrell Mustain joined CR Holland Property Management in 2016 as a Maintenance Technician. With over a decade of hands-on experience and HVAC certification, Darrell ensures the comfort, safety, and efficiency of the properties he serves.
