Ryan Holland is a founding member of CR Holland. He graduated from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville with a degree in Economics and Finance. He is responsible for the overall operations of the company, including employee management, financing, accounting, strategic planning and business development.
Ryan specializes in creating financial models which incorporate total project development cost, projected revenues, estimated operating costs, and financing strategies to determine how to make a project feasible. He has assisted in over $150 million worth of financing (conventional, HUD, life companies, Fannie/ Freddie) including complex long-term University backed financing.
In 2009, Ryan worked directly with Stinson Morrison LLP in the drafting of Illinois Sales Tax and Revenue Bond Legislation, which was ultimately approved by the State of Illinois. He is a founding member of Millennium Destination Development, the assigned Master Developer for a 720-acre mixed use development in Marion Illinois. The $300+ million destination development will include a mix of retail, entertainment, a turf sports complex, hotels and residential. According to the feasibility studies, the development is projected to bring in more than 1 million visitors annually, create more than 2,000 new jobs, and generate an economic impact of more than $650 million annually.
Ryan began his career selling apartment complexes and has since sold over 1,000 units throughout Illinois. In 2010, he started the residential construction division at CR Holland and they quickly began buying and selling apartments and houses. In 2016, Ryan created the management division at CR Holland which now manages over 400 residential properties and is also HUD approved.
Ryan has extensive experience in management structures, apartment management, staffing strategies, controlling operational overhead, apartment financing, construction management, budgeting, land acquisition, government approvals, and contract negotiations. Ryan is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois, and he was previously licensed in the State of Florida.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his twin boys, his wife and two step children.
