Chad Holland, Partner

Managing Broker

Chad Holland is a founding member of CR Holland Commercial Real Estate.  He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, National Association of Office and Industrial Properties, Belleville Area Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and the Illinois Association of Realtors.

In 2007, Chad was hired by Paige Sports Entertainment to oversee the development of Tapestry Park, an A+++ mixed use development located in Jacksonville, FL and assist in the development of Aloma Walk, a Publix Anchored Shopping Center in Winter Park, FL near Orlando. In 2009, Tapestry Park was voted the Best Mixed-Use Project in North East Florida by the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties.  For more information on Tapestry Park please visit www.TapestryParkLLC.com.

Chad is a partner in Millennium Destination Development, the lead developer for a planned open-air shopping, dining and entertainment complex on more than 400 acres along Interstate 57 in Marion, IL.  The development is planned to include a mix of destination and entertainment businesses, retail stores and restaurants.  

Chad is a veteran of the United States Navy and was stationed onboard the USS Preble (DDG 88) where he was a Sonor Technician, Torpedoman and a member of Visit Board Search and Seizure Team. During basic training in the Great Lakes, Chad and his recruit division received Hall of Fame recognition. Chad also received a honorman award for graduating first in his class during apprenticeship school and a letter of commendation from the Captain onboard the USS Preble.

Ryan Holland, Partner

Chief Financial Officer

Ryan Holland is a founding member of CR Holland Commercial Real Estate.  Ryan graduated from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville with a degree in Economics and Finance.  In 2006 Ryan received the Rookie of the Year award from the Realtor Association of Southwestern Illinois, selling more than $13 million in real estate in his first year as a licensed real estate agent.  Ryan also sold more than 750 apartment units within a two year period.

Ryan's responsibilities include land assembly, governmental approval, acquisition of properties, overseeing project feasibility and asset analysis, financial projections and project financing, development accounting and budgeting. His responsibilities also include entitlements and master planning.

 

John Costello, Agent

Vice President of Real Estate

John Costello is the VP of Real Estate and Development and is a Licensed Real Estate agent for CR Holland Commercial Real Estate.  John graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a major in Radio & TV and a minor in Political Science. His responsibilities for CR Holland include the conceptualization and execution of strategic development plans, master planning and negotiating with retail tenants.

John was formerly employed by Strano and Associates Real Estate, where he successfully established a new Commercial Branch for the company. At Strano, John managed due diligence requirements and land-use approvals for the company's top accounts. He recommended sites for retail and residential developers and worked with engineers on layout, defining design criteria, completing initial planning and cost estimates. He also coordinated and obtained regulatory land-use approvals and interfaced with local planning, operating, finance, and legal organizations to meet local requirements and create positive relationship with community leaders. 

 

Jeffrey Barton

Chief Financial and Operating Officer & Legal Advisor

Jeff is a graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California and he has a BS in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.  Jeff is responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of real estate development, including acquisition, financing, joint ventures, and construction and consultant contracts.  Jeff is also responsible for overseeing new project feasibility, financial projections, development accounting and project financing.

Jeff is an experienced professional with demonstrated skills in financial services industry.  Jeff is the founding member of Alliance Consulting Group, LLC a leading privately-held consulting firm specializing in corporate and financial services consulting services.  He has advised on and assisted investment sponsors on the formation and initiation of private investment products, including a $500M non-traded REIT and multi-million dollar private placement offerings specializing in real estate and related assets.

                  

Prior to joining CR Holland Jeff was a Director / Administrative Compliance / Privacy Officer / Chief Risk Officer for Stifel Nicolaus & Company in St. Louis, MO.  Stifel is a full-service, self-clearing national broker/dealer and registered investment advisor with a 5,000+ financial advisor sales force. Prior to joining Stifel, Jeff was the Chief Compliance Officer / Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer for CM Group, LLC in Henderson, NV. CM Group is a privately-held holding company of an independent broker/dealer and product sponsor specializing in alternative and traditional investment products including a retail and wholesale/institutional sales force. He was also the Compliance Officer for CM Capital Services, LLC the largest private trust deed, real estate-based investment firm in Nevada.  


Jeff's professional licenses and certifications include: Series 7, 24, 26, 51, 66 and 79. 

Sean Hayden, Agent

Real Estate Agent and Marketing Director

Sean is a Licensed Real Estate agent with over 15 years experience in commercial and residential real estate acquisition, development, leasing, management, and sales. Sean is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia with a degree in Marketing. Sean is an entrepreneurial and results-oriented leader with strong organizational and managerial skills and he has proven ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status. Sean is a highly motivated and detail oriented problem solver and is a strong strategic thinker and team builder. Some of his clients include, Exxon Mobil, Edward Jones, La Quinta Inn & Suites, Comfort Inn & Suites, SCI Engineering, Memorial Hospital, Apex Group and the State of Illinois.

 

John Holland

Construction Management and Development Director

John Holland has over 35 years experience in the construction industry and is a Real Estate Executive with experience in the acquisition and development of retail facilities.  He has proven success in conceiving, entitling and executing complex development and construction projects and has been involved with extensive negotiations with political entities, community groups, tenants, partners, consultants, contractors and other service providers.

John is also the founding member of Unlimited Resources, a development consulting and construction Management Company which was established in 2005. Unlimited Resources works in conjunction with CR Holland and provides the following services: examine construction budgets, inspect and evaluate construction progress, prepare observation reports, control and direct the Project Lenders’ disbursements including authorization or withholding of payments to contractors, subcontractors and vendors, coordinating and directing the activities of contractors, subcontractors and vendors, the conceptualization and execution of strategic development plans to maximize the income and value of the shopping center, negotiating with political entities, community groups, retail tenants, partners, consultants, contractors and other service providers.  Other responsibilities include contractor selection, asset management, governmental relations and approvals, entitlements, master planning, community relations, deal negotiations, and legal documentation.
